Position Overview
Michels Communications Corporation is seeking a Social Media Content Creator & Executive Assistant to work directly with the Vice President & Director of Digital Marketing.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who wants real experience in content creation, marketing execution, and business operations—not just entry-level tasks.
You will play a key role in helping produce content, support campaigns, and keep marketing initiatives moving forward across multiple brands and clients.
What You’ll Do
Content Creation & Social Media
- Capture high-quality video and photo content
- Create reels, short-form video, and platform-specific content
- Assist with posting and managing content across:
- Facebook
- Instagram
- TikTok
- LinkedIn
- YouTube
- Stay on top of trends and implement what’s currently working
Editing & Production
- Edit content for engagement, clarity, and performance
- Use tools such as Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar
- Ensure content aligns with brand standards and messaging
Executive & Marketing Support
- Work directly with the VP of Digital Marketing on campaigns and initiatives
- Assist with organizing projects, timelines, and deliverables
- Help coordinate marketing efforts across multiple clients and platforms
- Support execution of digital campaigns and internal projects
Performance & Optimization
- Track engagement and basic performance metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve content and results
- Assist with reporting and campaign adjustments
Execution & Problem Solving
- Take initiative and complete tasks without constant direction
- Adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment
- Bring ideas, test them, and refine based on performance

Qualifications
Required:
- Strong interest in social media and content creation

Preferred:
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar tools
- Understanding of social media trends and algorithms
