Social Services Director

Monday-Friday

Job Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operations of the Social Service Department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations. LTC established policies and procedures to assure the medically related emotional and social needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis.

Education Requirements: Must possess, as a minimum, a bachelor’s degree from an approved school of social work or related field. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility or other related medical field.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

  • Pass P.L. 101-630 background investigation

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language

  • Must possess the ability to tactfully deal with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public.

  • Must possess valid driver’s license.
