Job Summary: The primary purpose of your job position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Social Services Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the medically related psychosocial needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis.
Education Requirements: Must possess, as a minimum, a bachelor’s degree from an approved school of social work or related field. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital, skilled care facility or other related medical field.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
· Pass P.L. 101-630 background investigation
· Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
· Most possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public.
· Must posses a valid driver’s license.
