Salary Range: $21.50 - $34.50

Department Details

Come join the largest long term care facility in the state of South Dakota! We offer multiple services from general long-term care, short-stay rehab, and memory care unit at the facility.

This position is four days per week from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Primary responsibilities would include assisting with admissions in our Rehab Department as well as help with resident needs in our secure dementia unit.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited curriculum required. If hired prior to January 1, 2009, a bachelor’s degree in Social Work or another related field was acceptable.

Healthcare and/or mental health hospital experience preferred.

Depending on location, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six weeks of employment. Depending on position, may be required to possess multi-state licensure privilege.

Must possess a license in good standing in state(s) of practice:
South Dakota: Social Worker license (SW)

GSS locations: Licensure or certification as a social worker in the state where the location is located, if required by State Social Work licensing board.
