Position Highlights:

Performs routine and complex echocardiograms, vascular diagnostic testing, stress tests and EKGs in-house and on Mobile Outreach.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience. 

• $30.25 - $45.75 per hour

Job Requirements

Education and/or Experience

Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school in a related health field (i.e., Cardiovascular Technology) preferred.
Two - three years of previous ultrasound experience preferred.
Required to have a working knowledge of cardiac and vascular pathology.
Certification/Licensure/Registrations

ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) registered in either Echocardiograms (RDCS) (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer)/ or Vascular Technology (RVT) (Registered Vascular Technologist) required. New Graduates must have initial registry within 12 months of hire.
Second ARDMS registered within 18 months of hire is required.
Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter.
