Sous Chef

The Country Club of Sioux Falls is seeking a creative, motivated, energetic and dependable individual to be our Sous Chef

Duties include:

  • Management, training and professional development of kitchen staff
  • Assure a high standard of appearance and cleanliness of culinary facilities
  • Asisst executive chef and sous chef in daily duties
  • Maintain the consistency in food quality, plate presentation and timing
  • Manage within budgetary guidelines
  • Assit with monthly inventories, hiring, scheduling and menu development
  • Health and safety code compliance
  • Opening and closing of kitchen
  • Assist with banquet functions
  • Help control labor and food costs
  • Maintains professional appearance
  • Nights, weekends and holidays are required
  • Ability to work 8+ hour shift

Experience in Kitchen Management is preferred. Flexible hours are required. Must be a team player and possess excellent communication skills and extreme energy.

Salary Range dependant on experience.
