Specialty Gas Filling & Customer Service

Job Description

Responsible for filling compressed gases in a safe and professional manner within the Specialty Gas Division. Also responsible for customer service inquiries to the specialty gas division and setting up hazardous material shipments.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Prepare Specialty Gas Cylinders via cylinder bakeout, valving, etc.
• Fill pure & mixed gases using the manual and automatic blend cells
• Follow A-OX cylinder filling, and safety procedures
• Submit and file necessary records for production performed
• Complete full package of gases via labeling, scanning, shrink wrap, etc.
• Set up hazmat common carrier shipping for specialty gas wholesale orders
• Engage in specialty gas wholesale customer service including:
  • Order Confirmations
  • Shipping notifications
  • Customer Document Requests

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Highschool Diploma

• Previous use of computers and Microsoft office

• Ability to routinely lift 25-75 pounds

• Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours

• Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling and repetitive motion also required

• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines

• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment
