LifeScape has three rehabilitations location in our region.  We specialize in helping children specifically in Rapid City, SD and Sioux City, IA.  We also work with all of individuals in our Sioux Falls, SD rehabilitation clinic.  All of our specialized areas offer you a unique opportunity to join in providing great therapy care for individuals affected by a disability.  You will be part of LifeScape, a regional leader in pediatric therapy and services for children and adults with disabilities.

Job Requirements
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible to enter Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), and eligible for a South Dakota Speech-Language Pathology license. Valid South Dakota driver’s license and clean driving record required. Prior Speech Therapy experience with pediatric population preferred. May be asked to complete Professional Crisis Management (PCM) training.

• Knowledge of typical and atypical development in a variety of area addressed in speech therapy (i.e., oral motor, feeding/swallowing, voice, communication, language, cognition, etc.).
• Knowledge of ASHA Scope of Practice, ASHA Code of Ethics, and governing guidelines of the SD Speech-Language Pathology licensing board.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations and guidelines.
• Technical competence to use computers and software utilized by the organization.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other professionals, families, and people served of varying ages and diagnoses.
• Time management skills.
