As part of this expansion, they are adding a detail-oriented, analytical Staff Accountant to help support day-to-day accounting functions and maintain accurate financial reporting across the business.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

  • Reports to Controller.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments while maintaining an accurate general ledger.
  • Perform routine reconciliations (bank, credit card, and key balance sheet accounts) and resolve variances promptly.
  • Support accounts payable/receivable processing and assist with inventory controls as needed.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including gathering documentation for external CPA support.
  • Prepare and file sales tax returns across applicable jurisdictions (monthly/quarterly/annual).
  • Partner with internal teams to support reporting, cost tracking/project accounting, and process improvements or system enhancements.
Job Requirements
BACKGROUND PROFILE
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in a professional environment.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and strong fundamentals in general ledger accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working in accounting/ERP systems (ex: DDI, E-Automate, or similar platforms).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze data, spot variances, and resolve discrepancies.
• Proven ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-moving setting.
