Description:
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety is seeking a seasonal State Inspector, with flexibility in the position's location. This position will conduct inspections on behalf of the Department of Health, including restaurant kitchens, hotels, vacation homes, and other lodging facilities throughout South Dakota. The role requires travel across the state to complete inspections.
General Requirements:
Must have a valid Driver License
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
It would be helpful but not required to have knowledge of safe food handling practices.
It is important to have the skills to:
- manage time;
- develop an efficient schedule;
- function independently;
- create accurate and through reports.
Other Information:
This position will work up to 40 hours per week.
