Steel Detailer – Full-Time Position

Position Overview
Egger Steel Company, a trusted leader in structural steel fabrication throughout the Upper Midwest for over 80 years, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Steel Detailer to join our team in Sioux Falls, SD. This role is responsible for producing accurate shop drawings and supporting fabrication processes through technical expertise and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD and/or Tekla software
• Interpret architectural and structural blueprints to ensure accurate detailing
• Program fabrication machinery as required
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and shop personnel

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency with computers and drafting software
• Experience with AutoCAD or 3D modeling software (preferred, not required)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and a dependable work ethic
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
