Build the framework behind high-quality commercial spaces. Fox Drywall is hiring steel stud framing carpenters for schools, healthcare facilities, retail spaces and office projects. We welcome experienced framers and motivated candidates who want to develop their trade skills.

What you’ll do

• Lay out and install light-gauge steel stud walls, door openings, soffits and ceilings.

• Read plans and details, use lasers and framing tools, and help deliver straight, accurate work.

• Install track, studs, backing, bracing and specialty framing as assigned.

• Work with a foreman and crew to meet safety, quality and daily production goals.

• Keep materials organized, reduce waste and raise field issues early.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in commercial construction or steel stud framing preferred; developing carpenters are encouraged to apply.

• Strong measuring skills, dependable attendance and a commitment to safe work.

• Ability to work on active jobsites and contribute to a productive crew.

• Experience with plans, shaftwalls, rated framing or ceiling framing is a plus.

Position Details/Benefits

Full-time, hourly position based in the Sioux Falls area.

Competitive Hourly pay based on experience.

Schedule is Monday-Thursday, [7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.], Friday [7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.].

Travel to out-of-town projects may be required [1-2 hours Max]; [per diem/lodging provided]
