Structural Steel Estimator (Structural, Misc Metals, & Bridges)

Egger Steel | Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Pay: $25-$28

Overview

Egger Steel, a leading provider of structural steel fabrication in the Upper Midwest for over 80 years, is seeking a Structural Steel Estimator with experience in structural steel, miscellaneous metals, and bridge estimating. This role plays a key part in winning work across commercial and infrastructure projects. You’ll work closely with our team to deliver accurate, competitive bids and help drive project success from preconstruction through project completion. If you have estimating experience and can confidently read construction drawings, we want to talk.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare material and labor estimates
• Communicate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Develop and submit competitive bids and proposals
• Perform detailed takeoffs from structural, architectural, and bridge drawings
• Assist with change orders and post-award project support

Requirements

• Experience in steel estimating, construction, or similar field
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and time management

Schedule

• Monday–Friday 7:30 AM- 5:00 PM
• Overtime as needed
