Job Description
Summary of Position
The Student Success Analyst analyzes and reports on student outcomes, including academic achievement,
attendance, behavior, social-emotional well-being, residential engagement, college and career readiness,
graduation outcomes, and alumni success. The position leads data management, program evaluation, and
performance quality improvement efforts by transforming data into actionable insights that improve student
success from Grade 1 through graduation and beyond.
The Analyst collaborates with all Child Services departments and leadership teams to evaluate programs,
identify trends, and drive continuous improvement. This is an exempt position.
Accountability
Reports to the Executive Director of Child Services.

St. Joseph’s Indian School.
• Empowers staff to be able to promote a reclaiming environment for all students through the Circle of
Courage.
Responsibilities
Student Analytics
• Analyze and evaluate student data, including assessments, standardized testing, SQL databases and other
student growth measures to assess programs effectiveness and provide recommendations to enhance
student development.
• Report on Child Services programs outcomes and key performance indicators.
• Identify achievement gaps and at-risk student populations and provide recommendations to improve
outcomes.
• Support accreditation, compliance reporting, and continuous school improvement initiatives.
Student Engagement
• Monitor and report on key metrics for attendance, engagement, behavior, and social-emotional wellness
data to identify trends, risks, and intervention opportunities.
• Develop and track early-warning indicators for disengaged or at-risk students.
Alumni Success Analytics
• Analyze postsecondary, career, and alumni outcome data to evaluate the long-term impact of Child
Services programs in regards to college enrollment, persistence, workforce placement, and career outcomes.
• Identify gaps in access, participation, and achievement and recommend strategies to improve readiness,
retention, and on-time graduation.
• Monitor graduation progress and dropout risk indicators.
Performance Quality Improvement (PQI), Evaluation & Impact Review
• Support the organization’s Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) framework by tracking key
performance indicators, outcome measures, and student success metrics.
• Identify trends and patterns that contribute to positive student outcomes and program effectiveness.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for leadership, stakeholders, accreditation bodies, and regulatory agencies.
• Support continuous improvement efforts, including improvement plans, logic models, and performance
measurement frameworks.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with confidentiality, accreditation requirements, and
organizational standards.
Perform other duties as requested by the Executive Director of Child Services.
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Public Administration, Education, Social Sciences, Social Work,
Human Services, or a related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
Experience
• Three to five years of experience in data analysis, program evaluation, project coordination,
administrative leadership support, or related fields.
• Experience in education, child welfare, social services, healthcare, nonprofit, tribal, or human services
settings preferred.
• Experience supporting executive leadership preferred.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data reporting tools; SSRS experience preferred.
Experience with SQL Server and report development.
• Knowledge of program evaluation, performance measurement, and longitudinal data analysis.
Other Skills

• Understanding of trauma-informed care and holistic child development.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Physical Demands
• Primarily office-based work requiring extended computer and record review.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
Expectations of Hours Worked
40 hours per week.
