Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Helper (Seasonal – Summer)

Looking for a hands-on summer opportunity? Active Heating is hiring a Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Helper to support our installation team on job sites throughout the Watertown area, with occasional travel opportunities.

This is a great position for students or anyone interested in exploring a career in the trades while gaining real-world experience in the HVAC industry.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with installation of commercial HVAC ductwork (sheet metal)

• Transport materials, tools, and equipment throughout job sites

• Support lead installers with holding, sealing, and taping ductwork

• Unbox equipment and help stage materials for installation

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

• Follow all company safety guidelines and PPE requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts

• Basic hand tool knowledge is a plus

• Reliable transportation and strong attendance

• Team-first attitude and willingness to learn

• Commitment to safety on every job site

Pay & Schedule

• $17–$18/hour + overtime opportunities

• Full-Time | Summer Seasonal

• Based in Watertown, SD with some travel to job sites
