We are excited to expand our team, LSS is seeking to fill one position in each of the following locations: Aberdeen, Rapid City, and Sioux Falls, SD.

HOURS: Onsite, Full-time, 40hours, Monday- Friday; occasional evenings and weekends.

SALARY Non-Exempt w/OT: $60,000 Dependent on experience and qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Supervisor/Team Lead provides direct supervision and oversight to Family Development Specialists. The role involves supervising and developing staff, coordinating staff tasks, handling emergencies, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The Supervisor/Team Lead will be responsible for a regional team of Family Development Specialists. They will review and edit home studies to ensure professionalism in writing and compliance to all requirements, and will work to develop staff skills as needed. The Supervisor/Team Lead plays a key role in staff training and support, family support, and ensuring a high standard of service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, plus one to two years of related experience in a human services field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience with supervision and management preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Willingness to submit to record checks to detect criminal convictions of behavior harmful towards children, spousal abuse, distributing drugs or sex crimes.
  • Requires a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one with approved driver status.
