OBJECTIVE:
Pipestone Nutrition partners with pig producers across the Midwest to provide swine nutrition expertise, ingredient procurement, and mill management services. We are seeking an individual who is committed to delivering high-quality customer service, possesses exceptional communication skills, and is capable of building relationships with the farmers we serve and the mills we work with. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties as assigned)

  • Collaborate with the ordering team to process customer orders, confirm pricing, and ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment for Pipestone customers.
  • Generate timely and accurate ingredient price quotes by contacting suppliers and identifying the best options to meet customer needs.
  • Partner with the Logistics Coordinator to gather freight details and provide accurate shipping quotes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional service and a clear understanding of their needs throughout the ordering process.
  • Support internal warehouse inventory management by completing monthly true-ups and reporting findings to the Procurement Manager.
  • Maintain and regularly update the internal pricing list; distribute updates weekly to relevant teams.
  • Assist in resolving invoice discrepancies, managing customer complaints, and addressing product damage or order issues.
  • Work with the Procurement Manager to process credit adjustments as needed.
  • Develop proficiency in invoicing processes to serve as a backup to the Invoicing Coordinator.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all responsibilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Outlook daily for communication, reporting, and tracking tasks.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field preferred
Experience:
2+ years of experience in procurement, customer service, logistics, or a related administrative role
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; ability to manage data, create reports, and communicate effectively via email
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with a commitment to data accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Experience with order management or invoicing systems is a plus
Work Environment:
Office located in Independence IA, Brandon, SD or Pipestone, MN
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit at a desk working on a computer for daily work

Willingness to learn and adapt to changing processes and systems
Compensation, Pay & Benefits:
$50,000-$60,000 base salary, depending on experience
