Now Hiring: Swine Nutrition Research Technician
Location: Pipestone, MN
Are you passionate about swine production, research, and improving outcomes for producers? Join the PIPESTONE team and play a key role in conducting research that helps answer critical questions for our producers and advances the pork industry.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with swine nutrition and production research trials
- Collect and record accurate research data
- Work alongside Nutrition, Research, and Sow Production teams
- Participate in animal care activities including weighing, tagging, bleeding, and feeder measurements
- Maintain research records and enter data using Microsoft Excel
- Ensure research protocols, biosecurity standards, and safety procedures are followed
- Help identify and solve research and operational challenges
What We're Looking For:
- 1+ year of swine production experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field preferred
- Research experience preferred
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work weekends
Work Environment:
- Rural sow farms, wean-to-finish barns, and PIPESTONE office locations
- Hands-on work with livestock and research projects
