Position: Tax/Accounting Support Specialist
Job Summary:
The Tax / Accounting Support Specialist supports the growing demand for our services. This position will assist in facilitating the appropriate processes and support relating to successful tax preparation and filing, payroll services, presentation preparation, client correspondence and care.
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform administrative support work with considerable confidentiality and difficulty requiring judgment and discretion – correspondence, track appointments, distribute mail, and answer phone.
- Under general supervision, support work of our tax and accounting team including but not limited to reconciliations, depreciation schedules, tax return preparations, preparation of clients 1099’s, 1096’s, W-2’s, and W-3’s, assist with client payrolls, data entry and bookkeeping in QuickBooks, correspondence and date input.
- Individual should be organized, detailed, and task orientated
- Maintain a filing system and process incoming and outgoing correspondence as instructed.
- Communicate information to appropriate staff.
- Maintain a calendar/schedule.
- Attend meetings as appropriate.
- Manage the scanning for SFG including the auto flow component.
