Engineers are accountable for using best business practices to administer and support our organization's network and systems typical to the entertainment and hospitality industry with outstanding customer service skills. The Engineering II position differentiates itself from the other Engineering positions by demonstrated abilities, years of experience, education, and certifications. • Stage, image, configure, and deploy new and existing hardware • Install and configure software applications • Administer hardware and software asset management • Administer hardware warranty repair process • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues courteously and expeditiously • Work with third party vendors as needed to resolve issues and prevent issues from reoccurring • Troubleshoot and support Microsoft Office Suite of Applications; provide end-user with step by step assistance as needed • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic communications specific to Event Technology systems including but not limited to Audio-Video-Visual Presentation, Professional Sound, Paging, CCTV, Digital Media, and Video on Demand solutions. • Responsible for final hookup of electronics equipment and testing for guest bands, events, etc. including correctly and safely mounting, testing and calibrating equipment including projectors, screens, monitors, cameras, microphones, and speakers, etc. • Trains and instructs guest event vendors/solution providers, etc on proper use of our facilities, equipment, internal controls, policies and procedures as needed • Work with IT Teammates and Event Services Teammates to effectively and efficiently plan for and deliver the tasks as appropriate to other Event • Proactively identify areas of concern per event with regards to design, delivery, configuration, presentation, known issues, etc related to solution integration and guest functionality needs and address them to compliment the successful delivery of the requested event technology. • Responsible for reading and interpreting diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to meet the needs of events • Answer and appropriately handle incoming customer support requests via phone, e-mail, voice mail, helpdesk tracking system and in-person requests • Document, track and monitor all problem/resolution activity in the helpdesk tracking system to ensure a timely resolution • Work with teammates on the continuous development of problem solving techniques and the creation of more efficient support methods • Participate in team projects that enhance the quality of the support service level and promote technical and career growth • Assist in IT-related purchasing activities, such as product evaluation, shipping & receiving • Perform other IT-related operations, administration and maintenance functions as assigned • Work with teammates to maintain network operations and infrastructure; monitor usage following best business practices • Stage, image, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot new and existing switched network; i.e. Vlans, trunks, Cisco IOS, etc. • Troubleshoot, support, administer, and configure the full line of Cisco Network and IP Telephony devices and systems • Implement practices and procedures for scheduled outages, unscheduled outages (including emergencies), 7x24x365 monitoring of alerts, backups and disaster recovery • Practice Sarbanes-Oxley controls from a network security perspective • Contribute as a team member to serving uptime and data security goals • Administer and support enterprise virus protection solutions; familiarity with Trend Micro preferred. • Administer and support enterprise anti-spam, spyware, adware, phishing, etc product solutions; familiarity with Google’s Postini preferred. • Provide internet and intranet web support; use applicable applications and/or directly edit source code as needed • Administer and support Windows, and general TCP/IP networking, storage architectures, load balancing, and data protection • Ensure the proper and efficient use of systems by identifying system needs and working with users and vendors to support systems • Strong server hardware knowledge with ability to perform troubleshooting and repair on a variety of hardware • Use VMWare ESX platform including but not limited to HP Server virtualization, HP Storageworks architecture, and VMotion • Administer, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2008 as well as Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and 2008. Working knowledge of administering, supporting, and troubleshooting Microsoft Sharepoint Server a plus. • Administer, support, and troubleshoot entertainment and hospitality industry 3rd party solutions such as call accounting, in-room movies, satellite TV head-end systems, Point of Sale Systems, online reservation and event sale systems, hotel key lock and other miscellaneous systems Benefits Offered: • Health • Dental • Vision • Profit Sharing • PTO • Flex Benefits • Life Insurance • Supplemental Insurance • 401K

Job Requirements
•Engineers support network and systems to ensure availability to all users, vendors, guests, and interfaces.
•Engineers perform necessary maintenance to support availability.
•Engineers support planned, coordinated, and implemented security measures.
•Engineers must have a solid knowledge of OSI model and TCP/IP networking, server farms, storage architectures, load balancing, backup and recovery standard operating procedures.
•Under the direction of Information Technology Management, Engineers must demonstrate the aptitude to document and implement processes to increase efficiency, productivity, reliability and scalability.
•Engineers demonstrate their knowledge of designing, implementing, and supporting highly available systems in a 7x24x365 operation.
•Engineers demonstrate the ability to work under pressure both behind the scenes and in front of guests, follow specific directions, adapt quickly to changing conditions, continually evolve by acquiring further knowledge/skill, problem solve, use sound judgment, concentrate for long periods of time, speak and interact intelligently at an appropriate technical level for the audience being addressed.
•Engineers sit for long periods of time while centrally managing and delivering customer service from the Information Technology Office in a team setting.
•Engineers will be scheduled to assist in the rotational after hour on call process.
•Engineers perform their duties with little or no supervision.
Required
•Minimum Three+ years of work-related hands-on skill and knowledge.
•Minimum Three+ years of experience in business environment.
•Two+ years college or technical training required from accredited educational institution.
•Gaming experience a plus.
•CCNA and/or MSCE certification preferred.
