Position Overview: As a Technology Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in improving office operations through technology. You’ll act as the bridge between our internal office staff and our IT/development team—helping translate needs, troubleshoot issues, and assist with digital content and online learning platform management.

This is a hands-on position that combines IT support, digital design, and operational assistance. The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude, a creative eye for digital content, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Coordination:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal IT and system issues.

  • Provide first-level troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

  • Communicate office team needs, bugs, and feature requests to the IT/development team.

  • Assist with system testing, data entry, and reporting functions as needed.

  • Perform tasks that support ATS success (services for customers as directed by supervisor).

Digital Design & LMS Support:

  • Support the creation and maintenance of online training courses within the CLA (Changing Lanes Academy) platform.

  • Provide end-user support for the LMS, assisting students and customers with login, navigation, and technical troubleshooting.

  • Help develop and edit course materials, graphics, and digital assets.

Administrative & Operational Support:

  • Assist with IFTA reporting processes and other compliance-related documentation as needed.

  • Maintain and update internal records, checklists, and databases.

  • Support various projects across the company that involve technology or process improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong general IT and troubleshooting skills (hardware, software, and network basics).

  • Familiarity with digital tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar for simple design tasks.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate between non-technical and technical users.

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.

  • Basic understanding of IFTA, DOT, or trucking compliance is a plus.

  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable learning new systems quickly.

Education & Experience:

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required).

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support, digital operations, or administrative technology coordination.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
  • Includes a one-hour lunch break.

Compensation:

  • Starting wage: $20 per hour and up depending on experience.
