About the Role
Provide advanced technical support and system administration for desktop environments, endpoint management, and IT service platforms. Focus on day-to-day operations such as user provisioning, software deployment, and basic troubleshooting of systems and devices. Work within the Freshservice platform to manage incidents, service requests, and asset records.
Primary Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Configure and manage desktop policies, security settings, and system standards.
• Lead diagnostics and resolution of complex hardware and software issues.
• Build and upgrade hardware systems and manage lifecycle processes.
• Provide expert-level support for software installations, upgrades, and user training.
• Support server connectivity and assist with network installations.
• Manage procurement, licensing, and inventory of hardware and software assets.
• Coordinate relocation and decommissioning of IT equipment.
• Support enterprise printing solutions, including diagnostics and repair.
• Assist with software packaging, deployment and patching.
• Delivery training for new hires and ongoing user education.
• Manage escalated support issues and serve as a technical escalation point.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex issues.
• Support and maintain assigned systems, including endpoint management platforms (e.g., Intune).
• Configure and maintain ITSM tools and workflows (e.g., Freshservice).
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level administrators or engineers.
Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all interactions.
- Maintain concentration and work independently with minimal supervision, managing tasks efficiently and reliably.
- Apply analytical thinking and a keen eye for detail to troubleshoot issues and deliver accurate solutions.
- Quickly learns new systems and processes, adapts to change, and becomes proficient in evolving environments.
- Handle stress with composure, exercise self-control, and consistently upholds company policies and values.
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school (2+) years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
- Experience working in a ticketing system or ITIL-based support environment, required.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise desktop environments, system imaging, and endpoint management, preferred.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, preferred.
- Exposure to scripting (e.g., PowerShell) or automation tools, preferred.
- Familiarity with asset lifecycle management or CMDB concepts, preferred.
