Job Summary:
Kilowatt, Inc. is seeking Tower Technicians to perform telecommunications tower work, including climbing, rigging and operating equipment. This position involves outdoor work in various weather condtions and travel to job sites, typically for one to two weeks at a time. Employees are generally home most holidays and weekends.
Starting pay is $25/hour, plus benefits. No experience is required, although previous experience in tower work, construction, or other outdoor labor is preferred.
Company-paid lodging and a $40 daily per diem are provided during overnight travel.
Job Duties:
- Climb telecommunication towers and perform work at elevated heights and on the ground in various weather conditions.
- Use hand tools, rigging, and other equipment to complete tower related tasks.
- Follow instructions, adhere to safety procedures, and complete assigned tasks effciently and safely.
Job Requirements
No experience is necessary; outdoor work, tower and/or construction experience are preferred.
Ability to perform manual labor, work at heights, and travel for one to two weeks at a time.
Familiarity with rigging, hand tools, heavy equipment, and telecommunication test equipment is useful.
Welding experience is a plus.
