We are looking for a Service Technician to join our team! The Service Technician is responsible for assisting with the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of trailer systems to ensure equipment remains safe, reliable, and operational.
This position is designed for individuals with basic mechanical or technical knowledge who are interested in developing their skills in equipment maintenance and repair. The Service Technician would be working under the direction and supervision of the Service Foreman, the Service Technician will perform routine maintenance, assist with equipment repairs, identify potential issues, and help maintain an organized and safe work environment. This position provides hands-on training and opportunities to develop technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and experience working with mobile medical trailers.
Location: Office-based role located on-site at our Sioux Falls location, 109 S Petro Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57107
Essential Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of mobile medical trailer devices according to company guidelines such as a lift gates, roll doors, generators, etc.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and inventory.
- Test equipment functionality and perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
- Strong knowledge of maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
