Join our team as a Transition Success Coach
Are you passionate about helping young adult students with disabilities gain independence and job skills? Do you have a background in working with individuals with disabilities in an educational or community setting? Teachwell Solutions, a leading education cooperative in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a Transition Success Coach to support students in their journey towards reaching their full potential.
This job follows a traditional school calendar with summers and school holidays off. Start date is August, 2026.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide job coaching and skills training to students with disabilities ages 18-21 to help them navigate the transition to independence
- Provide transportation for students throughout the school day in the Sioux Falls area.
- Collaborate with teachers, vocational rehabilitation counselors, and families to create a supportive environment for student success
- Monitor student progress and implement adjustments to support plans as needed
- Collaborate with community organizations to provide students with additional support and resources
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in career development, special education, social work, counseling, or a related field preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Valid South Dakota drivers license
