! Job Description:
This position uses Geographic Information System (GIS) technology to manage and maintain roadway attributes and alignments for all public roads in the Non-State Trunk Road Inventory (NSTRI) database and provides expertise to the Department on jurisdictional issues.

Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities include attributing data elements and creating maps in GIS software applications, performing GIS analysis, providing assistance to contractors collecting roadway information, and working with local governments to resolve jurisdictional issues.

Compensation:
The total compensation of Hourly Wage + State/Federal Benefits for a typical year for entry level (classification) is approximately $83,439.00 annually.
This position is eligible for Veterans' Preference per ARSD 55:10:02:08.
