We are looking for an Underwriting Processing Associate to join our Underwriting team.
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work, researching information, and identifying discrepancies while building a career in underwriting and commercial finance.
You’ll play an important role in the underwriting process by gathering, reviewing, validating, and organizing the information our Underwriters need to evaluate funding opportunities. In this role, you’ll review financial and business documentation, research businesses, verify information, and help ensure underwriting files are accurate and ready for review and funding.

What You’ll Do:
• Review incoming documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company and lender guidelines
• Verify application information, supporting documentation, stipulations, and funding requirements
• Perform quality assurance reviews before underwriting and funding activities
• Identify missing, inconsistent, or inaccurate information and work to resolve or escalate concerns
• Research businesses, industries, and related information to help validate business operations and support risk assessment
• Obtain and review Secretary of State filings, background reports, industry reports, and other required documentation
• Investigate credit bureau discrepancies and other information inconsistencies that may impact underwriting review
• Verify banking relationships and account information to support bank verification, statement analysis, and funding activities
• Prepare contract requests and ensure required documentation is complete before funding
• Communicate findings, concerns, and exceptions to Underwriters and leadership
• Maintain accurate, organized documentation while helping keep underwriting workflows moving efficiently

Work Environment:
• In-office position located in Sioux Falls, SD or Sandy, UT
• Professional office environment using standard office equipment and business systems
• Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on business needs
