Warehouse Worker Job Duties:
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Order picking
- Stocking products
- Labeling shipping and receiving
- Completing paperwork for inventory transfers
- Perform preventive maintenance on forklift, vehicles, and other tools
- Arranging for repairs / maintenance of forklift, vehicles, and other tools
- Maintain safe and clean work environment
- Keep track of tool inventory
- Move waste to dumpsters
- Operate forklift, trucks, and other tools
- Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out. No damaged product is accepted in
- Package products for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
- Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person
- Maintain inventory levels
- Process returns accurately
- Follow all established policy and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplace
- Present a neat and professional image
- Assist in keeping facility secure
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Skills / Qualifications:
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Recognize and understand product numbers and alpha/numeric codes
- Understand basic inventory, warehousing, and stocking procedures
- Able to work independently with some direction
- Capable of following written instruction and documented procedures
- Able to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
