Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well in a team setting, and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.
Essential Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips.
- Unload, inspect, and properly store inventory.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Load outbound trucks while ensuring products are secured and handled properly.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper product placement and inventory counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory as needed.
- Report damaged merchandise, inventory discrepancies, or equipment issues promptly.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, customer service, and management to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Follow all company policies and OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is preferred but not required.
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
- Ability to accurately read shipping documents and product labels.
- Basic math and organizational skills.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely push, pull, and move products and equipment.
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures.
