Job Description
As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding custom metal components for commercial projects while ensuring precision, safety, and adherence to company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and weld aluminum, steel, galvanized, and stainless-steel materials.
- Utilize various welding processes including SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW.
- Prepare materials by grinding, cutting, drilling, and tapping prior to welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Maintain proper welding techniques to achieve high-quality welds meeting company standards.
- Perform work both in the fabrication shop and at field job sites as needed.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of weld screens and PPE.
- Collaborate with team members and complete additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipe welding and metal fabrication.
6G and stainless certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Pipe fitting experience preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
Work safely in varying weather conditions and environments.
Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, or lifts for extended periods.
Requires stamina, balance, and strong hand-eye coordination.
