Classification: Non-exempt
Schedule: 10-hour shift, Monday – Thursday. Overtime as assigned.
Job summary: The production painter will spray surfaces of manufactured protective material such as enamel or epoxy.
Responsibilities: Prepares surfaces for painting. Painter blends paint and other materials to achieve the right color and texture. Applies paints to various surfaces with efficient painting techniques, maintains mil thickness and learns all aspects of job as required. Handles planning and prep work in an efficient matter. Cleans equipment with recommended cleaning solutions daily. Performs other duties as assigned. Keep paint booth area and around clean daily.
Skills: Arm and hand strength, physical dexterity, and balance. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating with customers, co-workers, and management. Detailed orientated.
Physical requirements: May have to lift-up to 50-100 lbs. with help.
