Job Description

1. Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Run quality cartons at or above company standards

• Perform and record all quality control procedures

• Perform daily, scheduled and emergency procedures

• Trouble shoot problems as quickly as possible to keep machine running consistently and smoothly

• Keeping waste minimal

• Read and understand job jackets

• Keep area clean

• Keep crew busy during down time

• Constant communication with crew and other operators on window machine as well as other machines

• Safety conscious for self and others on your crew

• Other duties as apparent or assigned

2. Organizational Relationships

• Have good verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrate proper leadership skills in order to maintain continuous flow of operation

3. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Need good mechanical aptitude

• Trouble shoot using the proper tools

• Good judgement & common sense

• Ability to train new operators, catchers and feeders

• Ability to work well with others

4. Education and Experience

• High School/GED Diploma

• Able to read, write, speak and understand English

• Need basic math skills to fill out proper reports

• Be forklift certified

5. Working Conditions

• Able to lift and handle up to 50 lbs.

• Stand up to twelve hours at a time

• Be flexible with shift changes at any given time
