Youth Engagement Specialist - Monday to Thursday

Summary of Duties:

Provides direct care, supervision, and engagement to youth in a residential setting. Promotes safety, structure, and positive development through implementation of trauma-informed and therapeutic programming in daily activities.

Full or Part Time available!! Wage $17-19.00 per hour

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred; equivalent experience and training may be considered.

• Experience working with youth in a residential or human services setting preferred.

• Ability to build positive relationships and maintain appropriate boundaries with youth.

• Knowledge of behavior management, group dynamics, and trauma-informed care.

• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and respond effectively to changing situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision and always ensure the safety and well-being of residents.

• Support development of social, emotional, and behavioral skills through daily interactions and structured activities.

• Maintain a positive, therapeutic environment using trauma-informed and behavior management techniques.

• Complete accurate and timely documentation, including reports, logs, and incident reporting.

• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with staff to support treatment planning and program implementation.

• Respond to crisis situations and follow established safety and intervention protocols.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
